Each chapter contains three main elements:

Chapter One (p12)

  • Articles, present tense, question form, some interrogatives.

Chapter Two (p21)

  • John's boss in Frankfurt talks about his family and enquires if many people in Britain are able to speak German.
  • Talking about family life. Checking in at the airport and a security check.
  • Noun plurals, more interrogatives, stem vowel changes, possessives, 'haben', 'sein'.
